Edwards Small Mortuary announces with our deepest sympathy the passing of Trisia Ann Skinner on December 8, 2024. Our sincere condolences to the family and friends.

Ms. Trisia Ann Skinner also known as “Mame” departed her earthly life on December 8, 2024 at her home surrounded by family and friends.

Ms. Skinner was born March 13, 1953 to the late Edward Skinner and Ocie Lee Skinner.

Ms. Skinner joined Friendship Baptist Church. She was a faithful member until her health declined. She was a graduate of the historic D.F. Douglas High School Class of 1971. Her witty sense of humor will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her father, Edward Skinner Sr., two sons: Tony Patrick Skinner, James Skinner; one daughter, Tameka Skinner, brothers: Rickey Skinner, Michael Skinner, and Edward Skinner Jr. and one sister, Ocie Mae Skinner.

Trisia leaves behind to cherish her memories: her mother, Ocie Lee Skinner of Fort Myers, FL; her children: Antonio (LaSharne) Felton of Fort Valley, GA, Consuella (Ernest) McDonald of Butler, GA, Marcus (Kirsten) Skinner of Marshallville, GA, and Jermorris Felton of Fort Valley, GA; a grandchild, Diontray Harden, whom she raised as her own; two bonus children: Joey and Chanel Washington all of Marshallville, GA; four sisters: Ruth Felton and Paulette Crocker of Marshallville, GA, Juanita McNeal and Penny (Neal) Skinner of Fort Myers, FL; one brother, Johnny Lee Skinner of Augusta, GA; one sister-in-law, Eloise Felton of Warner Robins, GA; brother-in-law, Johnny (Terri) Felton of Fayetteville, NC; aunts: Mary Williams and Irene Barton of Fort Myers, FL, and Ella Solomon of Akro, OH; one uncle, Gene Barton of Fort Myers, FL; 18 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; a devoted first cousin, Mary Lou Jackson; a supportive friend, Betty Collier Smith, a dedicated classmate, Charles McGhee, a devoted niece, Tywanza Hallett, and a devoted nephew Robert Hallett; special thank you to her hospice nurses: Heather and Miranda, and a host of family and friends.
