Sandra Murray

Edwards Small Mortuary announces with our deepest sympathy the passing of Sandra Murray on November 5, 2024. 

SANDRA MURRAY a native of Fort Valley, Georgia was born on November 28, 1953 at the Macon Medical Center (now known as the Macon Navicent Medical Center in Macon, Georgia) to parents Rosalind Felton Murray and Fred Murray of Fort Valley, Georgia. 

Sandra attended the public school system in Peach County, Georgia and graduated from Peach County High School in 1971. After High School, she chose to work as a Childcare Assistant in various homes and churches in Fort Valley, Georgia. During her leisure time, she enjoyed dancing and listening to music. 

 On Tuesday, November 5, 2024, Sandra’s earthly journey was completed. She was preceded in death by her mother, Rosa Felton Murray; father, Fred Murray; sister, Velmarie Murray Longe; and brothers: McArthur Murray and Arthur James Murray. 

 Sandra leaves to cherish unforgettable memories of her life to her sister, Hattie Jackson, along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
