Lisa Ross

Edwards Small Mortuary announces with our deepest sympathy the passing of Lisa Ross on August 12, 2024.  Our sincere condolences to the family and friends. 

Lisa Ross was born August 19, 1979 in Fort Valley, Georgia. Her parents were Edward Ross Sr. and Willie Mae Ross. On August 12, 2024 she was called home to her heavenly father.

Lisa graduated from Macon County High School and received an Associate Degree from Fort Valley State University. She was married to Tracy Lindsey.

Lisa was a very joyous person whose spirit could fill a room. She loved to praise and worship the Lord and heavily advocated soul saving. She was a self-employed nanny for a loving family of three beautiful girls: Lainey, Emmery, and Avery Cummings. Lisa viewed the girls as her own children and genuinely enjoyed taking care of them.

She also took care of others including majority of family so much so as to where it became a hobby. She enjoyed cooking, shopping, watching movies, and going out to dinner with family at her favorite restaurants which were Olive Garden and Long Horn.

She was preceded in death by her son Chance D. Ross, parents Edward Ross Sr. and Willie M. Ross, and brother Rodney Ross Sr. 

Lisa leaves to cherish her memories: husband, Tracy Lindsey; children: Tatika Walton, and Corey McKinney; father and mother- in-law: Mr. Leslie Lane Sr. and Sandra Lane; sisters: Shirley Pines, Lakisha Callies (Darnell); devoted sisters-in-law: Denise Ross and Marilyn Rumph; brothers: Edward Ross Jr., Donald Ross, Christopher Ross (Shantray), Eric Ross (Olivia), and Derrick Ross (Crystal); she also leaves behind many loving nieces including: Shay Ross, Jessica Rice, Nyesha West; great niece, Makaila Conover and several nephews whom adored her; cousins: Tashica Leary, Darlene Rumph along with a host of other family and friends.
