Lelia Mae Snipes Felton Cliett

Edwards Small Mortuary announces with our deepest sympathy the passing of Lelia Mae Snipes Felton Cliett on July 13, 2024.  Our sincere condolences to the family and friends. 

Lelia, daughter of the late Mr. J.C. Snipes and Susie Mae Jones was born February 20, 1947 in Fort Valley, Georgia. 

She was affectionately called "Pete" by family and friends. Lelia received her education from the public schools of Peach County. 

Lelia gave her life to Christ in 2003 while a member of Fairview CME Church.  Then later on she joined Fellowship Temple of the Living God where she served as a missionary for many years until her failed health. 

In earlier years Lelia was employed by Holiday Inn in Perry, Georgia. She labored thirty years. 

On August 25, 2000 Lelia and Edward Cliett united in holy matrimony. 

Lelia never met a stranger, She loved people. 

On July 13, 2024 Lelia made her transition from earth to reward at Atrium Health Navicent, the Medical Center in Macon, Georgia. 

She leaves to cherish her memory three devoted children: Ms. Sheila Snipes; Mrs. Elizabeth Clark (Bobby) and Mr. Casey Felton.  All of Fort Valley, GA. Three grandchildren: India Snipes of Fort Valley, Georgia; Ieshia Faulk (Jerry) of Warner Robins, GA; and Jazzmine Felton of Fort Valley, GA.
