Edwards Small Mortuary announces with our deepest sympathy the passing of Mr. John Frederick Walker.  Mr. Walker entered into eternal rest on December 20, 2022.  Our condolences to the family and friends.

John Frederick Walker was born on October 17, 1945 to W.D. Walker & Besse Lowe Walker in Macon County, Georgia. He attended the public schools of Macon County.

At an early age, he joined Mt. Calvary Baptist Church of Marshallville, GA. He served as a Deacon and sang in the choir.

He was united in holy matrimony to Mattie Pearl Walker. Johnny loved being with family, dancing with his children and staying busy in the yard.

He was preceded in death by his parents, W.D. Walker & Besse Lowe Walker; a son, Ronnie Walker; sisters, Jeanette Walker, Katie Collier, and Mary Ann Paster; brothers, General Walker, John Thomas Walker, and Oscar McDonald; granddaughter, Shenika Walker and Tra’Nasia Amiracle La’Shon Cotton ; and a grandson, Ricky Walker, Jr.

He leaves to cherish his memories, a devoted wife Mattie Pearl Walker; children, Bonnie Walker, Alexander Perry, Thelina (Ricky) Little, Derinda (James) Anderson, Frederick (Lorrie) Walker, Shirley Toliver, Shelvia (Chris)William, Latoya Walker; Bonus Children; Vicki (Chuck) Colbert, Calvin Fields, Wendell (Nicole) Fields, Roosevelt Fields; Sister, Minnie Snead, Special Nieces; Gloria Story & Betty Smith; Brother -in -laws, Willie Fields, Bobby (Arlene)Hightower ; Willie Mae Taylor, Louise (LB) Johnson ; 36 Grandchildren; 55 Great -Grandchildren; a devoted friend, James Owen. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends .
