Jimmie Crocker

Edwards Small Mortuary announces the passing of Jimmie Crocker with our deepest sympathy. Our condolences to the family and friends.

Jimmy Crocker was born on March 15, 1943 to his loving parents, Annie Lizzie Crocker and LN Crocker in Marshallville, Georgia. Jimmy attended Lamson-Richardson elementary school in Marshallville, Georgia. He completed his high school education at D. F. Douglas High School in Montezuma, Georgia in 1963.

After completing High School, he was drafted into the U. S. Army during the Vietnam Era. His tour of service in Vietnam was between 1965 & 1966. Upon his return home, he decided to enroll at Fort Valley State College while employed in Civil Service at Robins AFB, Warner Robins, Georgia.

Jimmy entered into holy matrimony with Bernice Hampton Crocker and moved to Miami, Florida. After moving to Miami, he continued his Civil Service career at Homestead AFB in Miami-Dade County, Florida. He also continued his military service with the U. S.  Army Reserve where he served for 30 plus years. Upon retirement he relocated to Fort Valley, Georgia where he resided until his death.
