Jamar Edward Simpson

Edwards Small Mortuary announces with our deepest condolences the passing of Jamar Simpson, age 38, was born on December 6, 1983 in Los Angeles, California.  He was a precious bundle of joy.  Oh, how he was loved!  As a child, Jamar was an avid lover of sport playing softball and basketball for several little leagues.  He was a member at the Fellowship Bible Baptist Church Royal ambassador.  Jamar had a special way with the youth and they loved him. They loved his non-judgmental attitude, his caring demeanor, and his outgoing nature calling him a "gentle giant".  

Jamar loved his son Sean "Chosen" Simpson.  We do not believe words exist to describe the love that he had for his son.  Jamar leaves behind many wonderful friends who have loved and supported him. Among those friends were co-workers whom he worked with while serving as a Project Manager with the Department of Community Health in Atlanta, Georgia.  

His jovial personality and his gentle smile could melt hearts of those around him.  Our Jamar taught us that each day is a blessing, an opportunity to create lasting memories.
