To everything there is a Season, and a Time to every Purpose under Heaven. A time to be born and a time to die". If you keep me in your Heart, I'll forever be alive.
Geraldine Vincent, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and devoted friend passed peacefully to her heavenly home on Thursday, May 19, 2022, at Atrium Health Navicent in Macon, Georgia.
Geraldine's Season of Life began September 3, 1953, in Lake City, South Carolina to Rebecca Brown and Waddell Wooten. Geraldine was the youngest daughter of ten children. Shortly after her birth, the family migrated from South Carolina to Philadelphia, PA where she spent her childhood and most of her adult years.
Accepting Jesus Christ as her personal savior in 1976, Geraldine became a diligent servant of the Lord. On September 27, 1982, she married her best friend, protector, and love of her life, Duane G. Vincent. Throughout Duane's Career in the United States Air Force the couple enjoyed the privilege of traveling within the United States and to many different countries while experiencing different
cultures. During the time she spent traveling and being the wife of an enlisted Air Man, Geraldine was able to mentor and assist many young couples, single parent(s), and adults. Her compassion for others resulted in positively changing many lives.
She had the ability to adapt to different environments while caring for her home and four children. She was able to become a successful small business owner. As owner of a Family Home Daycare provider, she was able to provide daycare service to families wherever she resided for thirty-years. As a caring and nurturing individual, her Family Home Daycare far exceeded all governmental rules and regulations. Her daycare curriculum was designed to meet the needs of each child by providing an education curriculum
for all ages. She took special pride in her ability to provide care for children with disabilities and their families. Geraldine's Little Gems received recognition from many Early Childhood agencies.
