Ashley Renee Daniel Marshall

Edwards Small Mortuary announces with our deepest sympathy the passing of Ashley Renee Daniel Marshall on December 30, 2023.  Our heartfelt condolences to the family and friends.

Mother, Daughter, Sister, Granddaughter, Niece, Aunt, Friend. Our beloved Ashley Renee Daniel Marshall departed this life on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at the age of 35. Ashley was born in Perry, GA on December 3, 1988 to Carol Perry and Maurice Daniel. Growing up Ashley enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Although she was the smallest of her four siblings, she considered herself the boss of them all and took on the role of second mother very early in her childhood. 

Ashley was a full time employee with Frito Lay. She was very proud of her new position, and enjoyed working with her colleagues, some of whom became dear friends. 

In the Spring of 2023, Ashley graduated from Central Georgia Technical College, with an Associate’s degree in Business Management. It was a goal she was determined to complete, and an accomplishment that we were all excited to celebrate. 

On December 30, after a valiant effort, Ashley was called from labor to reward following a brief illness. 

She is survived by her daughter, Anna Catherine Renee Marshall who was the love of her life, Parents Carol Perry and Maurice Daniel, Twin sister Arielle Marshall (Courtnay), Brothers Terrance Barrett and Andrew Perry (Kiamata), Grandparents, Edward T. and Eva C. Kendrick, Godmother Dorothy Hill, Aunts Gloria Daniel, Mimi Kendrick, and Karan Kendrick, Nephews Camden Marshall and Avan Daniel and a host of family members who will cherish her memory. 

She was preceded in death by her brother, Aaron Joseph Daniel. 

We are grateful to have experienced life with our beloved Ashley. We are heartbroken that we had to say goodbye so soon. We know that she is now free. We glorify our Father in Heaven with whom she is now at peace. “May flights of angels sing thee to thy rest.”
